A composition centered around Siam Benzoin, a rare and precious raw material with many facets that is harvested in the high mountains of Laos.

In AMBRE PAPIER, perfumer Céline Perdriel crafts an olfactory tableau of contrasts, skilfully balancing strength and softness.

After a fresh and spicy burst of black pepper and Red Mandarin, the dark leathery warmth of saffron emerges with a fiery, almost electric intensity.

The benzoin then unfolds its rich, smooth, and vanilla-like facets, further deepened by the refined elegance of Haitian Vetiver.

Siam Benzoin: 

From January to July, local farmers meticulously hand-harvest
resin from 5 to 20-year-old trees by delicately cutting the bark to
allow the precious resin to flow. Upon contact with air, the resin
solidifies, transforming into the coveted Siam Benzoin.

We take great pride in selecting only the finest quality benzoin,
distinguished by the largest pieces and the lightest hues. Siam
Benzoin resinoid, a luxurious, thick liquid ranging from light to
dark brown, offers warm, enveloping, balsamic vanilla no tes.
