Rose Poetique by Manos Gerakinis at Indigo Perfumery
Rose Poetique is a 2018 edition that took over a year to complete.
Manos' previous Rose edition was regarded as one of the top 5 rose fragrances in the world. So this was a double challenge, as Manos wanted this fragrance to bring Joy and Euphoria.
He chose the Damask Rose and combined it with labdanum to create a floral ambrée scent with an addictive opening and an uplifting body. The Greek poet Sappho said of the Damask Rose: “It is the pride of plants, and queen of flowers”.
Top Notes: Saffron, Rhubarb
Heart Notes: Damask Rose, Patchouli, Labdanum, Raspberry
Base Notes: Vanilla, Cashmere wood, Sandalwood, Musk*
